From IMPAC-T, we have now moved forward to ADAP-T
Based on the success of IMPAC-T, another new project call “ Advancing co-design of integrated strategies with adaptation to climate change in Thailand (ADAP-T) ” was proposed, approved, Bouncy Castle and will officially start from April 2016 under SATRPS, as well. ADAP-T aims to support all the stakeholder in Thailand to hublot replica watches develop resilient and sustainable solutions for climate change, and incorporate plans into the Climate Change Master Plan of Thailand, which would be probably revised in 2020 corresponding to the Paris Agreement of UNFCCC adopted in December 2015. ADPAD-T will focus on six sectors, namely freshwater, forest, sediment, coastal, urban and rural, for adaptation studies. A knowledge base system for climate change will be further developed based on the heritage from IMPAC-T, and will support the research activities in the 6 sectors. The result will be integrated into a comprehensive adaptation plan through co-design among all the stakeholders, such as governmental officers, citizens, and researcher in Thailand with interaction with JICA and Japanese researchers.
Results of Final Evaluation of IMPAC-T
JICA และ JST ได้ตั้งคณะทำงานซึ่งเป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญภายนอกจำนวน 5 คน มาประเมินขั้นสุดท้าย โครงการ IMPAC-T ในระหว่างวันที่ 18-29 พฤศจิกายน 2556 ซึ่งวิธีการประเมินนอกจากมีแบบสอบถามและะนั่งฟังการนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยขั้นสุดท้ายจากทั้ง 18 กลุ่มย่อย แล้วยังได้ศึกษาจากเอกสารต่าง ๆ ของโครงการ (เช่น Project Design Matrix) breitling replica การสัมภาษณ์นักวิจัย การไปสังเกตการณ์และดูงานในสถานที่ต่าง ที่ติดตั้งอุปกรณ์ และเครื่องมือ ด้วย โดยเปรียบเทียบกับตัวชี้วัดความสำเร็จที่ได้ตั้งเป้าหมายไว้ คณะผู้ประเมินได้นำเสนอผลการประมินต่อ Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) รวมทั้งต่อ JICA ประเทศไทย เมื่อวันที่ 29 พฤศจิกายน 2556 ซึ่งผลการประเมินตามแนวทางใน 5 ประเด็นหลักที่ใช้สำหรับการประเมินโครงการของ JICA สรุปได้ดังนี้

The prolonged flood 2011 in Thailand InflatableWater Slide caused more than 800 deaths and extensive damage and losses which amounted to THB 1.43 trillion. Out of this, THB 1 trillion fell on the manufacturing. JICA has been providing many supports since the beginning of this flood, such as pumping vehicles for drainage of inundation areas, tents and foods for refugees, and fertilizers and seeds for quick recovery of pastures.
Responding to the request from the Royal Thai Government in November 2011, JICA in collaboration with NESDB, RID, DWR and all other relevant agencies has been conducting two flood management projects which are titled “Project for the Comprehensive Flood Management Plan for the Chao Phraya River Basin” and “Project for Flood Countermeasures for Thailand Agricultural Sector.” Both projects consist of several sub-projects and have been producing many types
- Upgrade flood management master plan of the Chao Phraya River Basin,
- Basic plan of Flood Management Information System, Flood forecasting system, and Guidelines for disaster Omega Replica resilient agriculture and agricultural community Construction of new floodgates in the Pasak River,
- After the 2011 flood impacted to the worldwide economic activity, many voices desiring a reliable flood forecasting are heard from general public. Particularly, industrial sector the most seriously requires it in order to make timely judgment about their business continuity.
- Foundation of River & Basin Integrated Communications Japan (FRICS) is deployed and has been working to develop this system. The system incorporates two hydro-mathematical model built on the LiDAR topographic data; the H08 run-off model developed by Katsesart Univ. and Univ. of Tokyo and RRI inundation analysis model developed by International Centre for Water Hazard and Risk Management (ICHARM).
- The system covers the whole Chao Phraya River Basin including Pin, Wan Yom and Nam Rivers. “It can provide Flood Risk Information such as the 7 days forecast of water level and risk of inundation in the basin. The prototype has been already completed and under test run currently, but it will be available for general public from the flood season in 2013.
